INFOCOMM -- ANAHEIM, CA -- June 19, 2007 -- SANYO, one of the world's largest
manufacturers of projectors introduces the ultra-mobile widescreen PLC-WXU10 projector
during INFOCOMM this week in Anaheim, CA.
Offering a full 1280 x 800 resolution, the PLC-WXU10 is designed for both business and
home applications. At 2000 lumens this diminutive projector can be used for boardroom
presentations during the day, as well as for, entertaining the whole family at night with
exquisite HD images from OTA, cable/satellite and DVD.
"Mobile presenters have asked for a projector that matches the resolution and aspect ratios
of the latest laptops," says Mark Holt, the Vice President and General Manager for
SANYO's Presentation Technologies Division. "The PLC-WXU10 fills that niche by
providing crisp and clear presentations for boardroom use and as an added bonus, it can be
taken home and used to watch HDTV and or any of the latest DVD formats. And on long
road trips, these widescreen projectors provide a nice entertainment break for frequent
travelers."
A flexible zoom lens allows for projecting in both short and long distances, from 3-feet to 25-
feet to be exact. Keystone Correction adjusts for 16 degrees up or down for fast and easy
set up. The unit turns on automatically when the power cord is plugged into an electrical
outlet and with the Easy-Off function it's possible to remove the power cord without waiting
for the machine to cool down - convenient for quick exits after a presentation.
