Direct TV is the number 1 satellite provider in the U.S. They are a great provider of HD content if you are a sports fan, offering the NFL Sunday ticket, the NBA league pass, the NHL center ice and the MLB package, all available in HD with their super fan package. They broadcast significantly less HDTV content than Dish Network when it comes to movies, sitcoms and such, but that will soon even out with their pledge to offer 100 HD channels in 2007. in this, they will be trying to soon offer 11 channels of HBO in HD, along with Multichannel Starz and Cinemax HDTV content. If you are a big sports nut(especially football), and you want to see almost every game, every hit, in high definition, then direct TV could be for you.
