$98, $99 TOSHIBA HD DVD MADNESS! BEST GIFT FOR YOUR HDTV! We were lucky to order one at BestBuy.com for a store 100 miles away. By the time we picked it up the rest of their stock was gone. One person bought six of them. It was the closest store that had any stock of the Toshiba HD-A2. Wallmart sold out shortly after the store opened.
Not even a week after almost all national retailers reduced the Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player to low prices under 200 dollars. It Seems that Wal-mart and Best Buy, 2 of the biggest electronics dealers in the nation, have dropped the price of their HD-A2 HD DVD players to 98 and 99 dollars.
Walmart announced the other day that Friday, November 2, 2007 that they were having a one day sale that included This HD DVD player for the record setting price, shortly thereafter Best Buy reduced the price of their HD DVD player to 99 dollars.
This is a great deal to get people to buy into the high defintion media formats due to the fact that it can upconvert DVD discs, plus you get 5 free movies by mail with these offers, so you can compare an upconvert to the superior high definition movies and see for yourself that high definition media is the best thing for your HDTV.
Wal-mart's deal, moreover, is complimented by a big sale on a 50 inch Plasma TV for $998, another great deal. It's a great day to get into high definition discs and programing for under $1100 dollars. Expect to see more great deals this holiday season. looks like HD DVD has the price advantage and Sony and the blu-ray disc companies should follow suit if they want to be cometetive.
